NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile Games

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile was released as a mobile graphics processor on January 3, 2017. This makes it possible for the GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile to run all current games. With a device area of 132 mm2 and 3,300 million transistors, the GP107 graphics processor is a chip of normal size.

For the GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile, NVIDIA has disabled some shading units to attain the product’s goal shader count, as opposed to the fully unlocked GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, which uses the same GPU but has all 768 shaders active.

As a result, it has 16 ROPs, 40 texture mapping units, and 640 shading units. The GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile and 2,048 MB of GDDR5 RAM have been matched by NVIDIA. They are linked together by a 128-bit memory interface.

Memory runs at a speed of 1752 MHz, while the GPU operates at a frequency of 1354 MHz to increase it to 1493 MHz (7 Gbps effective). It has a maximum power draw of 75 W. to connect to displays; this gadget lacks display connectivity.

Instead, it will use the host mobile device’s output and is designed for use on laptops and notebooks. Using a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 interface, the GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile is linked to the rest of the hardware.

Functionalities

Samsung produces the GP107 chip using a 14 nm FinFET manufacturing process, and it comes with several additional features like support for DisplayPort 1.4 (ready), HDMI 2.0b, HDR, Simultaneous Multi-Projection (SMP), and better H.265 video de-and encoding (PlayReady 3.0).

Use Electricity

The GeForce GTX 1050 uses around the same amount of power as the previous GTX 960M, which translates to around 40–50 Watts and is significantly less than its desktop equivalent (likely because of superior part selection and optimization).

It indicates that powerful multimedia notebooks and entry-level gaming systems with a minimum screen size of 15.4 inches will often employ the graphics card.

Memory

Installed memory’s type, size, bus, clock, and resulting bandwidth. It should be noted that GPUs built into processors use a shared portion of system RAM rather than specialized GPU memory.

Can you mine with 1050?

The 1050 series’ most potent card is the GTX 1050 Ti. While the GTX 1050 is available in 2 GB and 3 GB versions, it features 4 GB of GDDR5 RAM.

Unfortunately, for Ethereum mining, this is insufficient. But you could still mine other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Gold, Ravencoin, Beam, Ethereum Classic, etc., using this video card. Thank you for reading this article.
